Sunny Ranch has a few members that have already joined the retirement community. Many of these horses are retired show horses and family pets. Here is some information about our all-star line up.

Loved and Owned by Joseph Mathews, MO   Pro Motor “Jr.” Age: 19 Retired Western Pleasure horse with 43 AQHA points and earnings in excess of $2000.00. Retired at a young age due to an injury, and spoiled by the Mathews grandchildren! Loved and Owned by Joseph Mathews, MO   Gimlets Gamble “GG” Age: 30 Retired race horse...retired because she just did not want to run! Dam of Pro Motor! Loved and Owned by Joseph Mathews, MO   Winnie Age: 29 Retired cutting horse...owners late mother’s show horse and now beloved family pet.   Loved and Owned by Deb Frank, MO     Scarletts Lil Peppy “Peppy” Age: 21 Retired cutting horse...retired at a young age due to respiratory distress and an owner who loves him enough to allow for a retirement fit for a king. Peppy received a Certificate of Achievement in the National Cutting Horse Association and won an excess of $15,000.00.   Loved and Owned by AJ Schopp, MO   Flame of Dixie "Flame" Age: 24 Retired American Saddlebred Show Horse and loved dearly by three young ladies! Loved and Owned by Carolyn, Cate, and Courtney Banzinger; MO       Ace Age: Unknown Retired race horse, Longmeadow adoptee, hunter/jumper and family pet! Loved and Owned by Ann Godding, MO       Copenhagen Age: 23 Retired hunter/jumper and former mount of William Woods Students! Loved and Owned by the Landesman Family, MO       Patricia Isles Age: Unknown Retired Three-Day Eventing horse.   Loved and Owned by Donna and David Crossly, MO       Schnapps Age: 27 Retired hunter/jumper and former Olympic athlete! Competed in the 1988 Olympic Games in Show Jumping.   Loved and Owned by by the Donnoley Family, MO       Bo Age: 19+   Loved and Owned by Ann Goding, MO         Zip Age: 28   Loved and Owned by Joy Martinez, MO       Bleu Age: 21 Retired Polo Pony from various polo teams in the St. Louis area, most recently Jason Rauschelbach’s polo string. Retired from the polo field in 2005 and given to Olivia Kohler for Christmas 2005.   Loved and Owned by Olivia Kohler, MO       Poco Age: 20+ Retired school horse from the prominent Baskin Farms in St. Louis, MO. Poco gave many of St. Louis’ top equestrians their first lessons and allowed them to fall in love with the sport.       Shadow Age: 20+ Shadow like Poco, was retired from the school horse string at Baskin Farms. Now the two of them meander around the pasture together letting everyone know just how special they think they are.       Cajun Age: 20 Cajun was recently gifted to Christin from Valerie Polanchyk who owned him for several years. She realized that she did not have time to spend with him any longer and contacted Christin, who had a love for Cajun years ago. She is truly the class clown and is always up to no good. She is an escape artist and loves to be chased by the staff of Sunny Ranch.
